Day 1 Venice
Arrival in Venice and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Venice – Carnival Extravagance Masked Ball
Breakfast in hotel. Full day at leisure to enjoy the excitement of the Carnival atmosphere at St. Marks square and join in on the costume parade.

This evening, please make your own way to the Palazzo Dandolo, Ridotto Hall at the Hotel Monaco and Grand Canal at San Marco 1332, Calle Vallaresso, to attend the Carnival Extravagance costume event.

In the Hall of the Ridotto, heart of the extravagant carnivals of the 18th century where nobles, gamblers and adventurers such as Giacomo Casanova were regular, it will take place the most elegant party of the Carnival of Venice. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a rich welcome cocktail and then a five-course dinner will be served to their tables (wines included) in a magical atmosphere with several appearances created by wonderful Venetian costumes and the best artists. During and after dinner the Grand Ball led by the Dance Master on the live music of a classical ensemble will take place: a unique experience which combines amusement, elegance, and participation. Day 3 Venice
After breakfast at your hotel, the morning is yours to spend at leisure.

In the afternoon please make your own way to the meeting point of the Campo San Moise (in front of the Hotel Bauer) for your Venice sightseeing tour and Gondola Ride. Your tour will depart at 15:00, please ensure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time.

The only way to visit the unusual and fascinating corners of Venice off the beaten track and where time seems to have stood still centuries ago.

You will enjoy a panoramic tour (no entrance foreseen) with the Tourist Guide of the area between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, through a labyrinth of little canals, and sites of historic and artistic interest, passing by some special places: Teatro La Fenice (“The Phoenix”), one of the most famous opera house’s in Europe, the site of many famous operatic premieres; Scala del Bovolo, an unique spiral staircase with a plethora of arches; Rialto Bridge and its typical shops, one of the architectural icons of Venice.

The tour does not include the explanation of St. Mark’s Square. At the end of walking tour, you will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride on the Grand Canal (S. Maria della Salute area) and minor canals (Fenice area). On the gondola ride, there is no commentary.

Upon completion of your tour, the remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure in this amazing city. (B)

Day 4 Venice
Your Carnival experience will conclude after breakfast and check out. (B)
