Venice, like every region in Italy, boasts its own unique culinary specialities. Given the city’s proximity to the sea, seafood dishes are abundant, making it a haven for seafood lovers.
In addition to the famous seafood dishes, Venice also features a variety of inland fresh fish recipes. Traditional methods like marinating or preserving freshwater fish in saltwater have been passed down through generations and are still widely practiced today.
For your luxury Italy holiday, you’ll stay in a stunning Venetian manor house near the charming town of Treviso. This 16th-century villa is steeped in history and features sumptuously decorated rooms. Guests can unwind by the villa’s pool or stroll through its meticulously manicured sculpture garden, offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining and relaxation.
Welcome to the Veneto! Upon your arrival at Marco Polo Airport, our transfer will greet you and transport you to your villa. After settling in, meet your host and enjoy some welcome drinks. Dinner will be served at the villa, prepared by your chef – the perfect start to your Italian holiday!
Following breakfast, enjoy your first hands-on cookery lesson with the chef, followed by lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax and unwind before dinner at the villa.
After breakfast, you’ll return to the kitchen for another cooking lesson, and you’ll savor your dishes for lunch. In the afternoon, travel to a nearby vineyard for a Prosecco tasting before returning to the villa for dinner.
In the morning, visit the picturesque town of Treviso, known for its canals, cobbled streets, and as the birthplace of Tiramisu. Wander through the local fish market before heading back to the villa for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your fourth cooking lesson, followed by dinner at the villa.
After breakfast, the group will be transferred to Venice, where you’ll have a full day to explore the city at your leisure. Stroll through the winding passageways or take a boat ride along the canals, discovering Venice’s iconic sights, like Basilica di San Marco and the bustling Rialto food market. Enjoy lunch at a local Bacaro before returning to the villa for dinner.
Start your day with another hands-on cooking lesson, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, explore Treviso’s historic town center and later, enjoy dinner at our favorite local trattoria.
After breakfast, you’ll have your final cooking lesson, followed by lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the villa before gathering for a special farewell dinner, prepared by your chef.
