BOUTIQUE SMALL GROUP CULINARY TOUR
Sicily is an island of contrasts, mixed cultures and changing landscapes. Its ideal location in the middle of the Mediterranean means it is bathed in sunshine most of the time. It has an amazingly diverse and ancient heritage which can be found in its local cuisine. We base ourselves in the south-east of the island and the surrounding area is dotted with well-known historical sites, such as Siracusa’s Greek Theatre, and the Baroque towns of Noto and Ragusa which are day-trips on your cooking holiday.
Our culinary holidays are relaxed, fun and hands-on. They take place in the kitchen of the villa, with everyone working in a group with the chef. As we only take small groups everyone can really get involved. Our local chefs are very passionate about cooking and sharing their knowledge.
You’ll learn new techniques and skills, while creating recipes traditional to the region using fresh, seasonal ingredients and meet new people, making it perfect for singles. Italian food is simple but tasty and the recipes you’ll learn are ones you can bring home and create in your own kitchen with ingredients that can be found anywhere.
The villas where our cookery holidays in Sicily take place are built in a typical Sicilian style. Chosen because of their locations, they have some beautiful views of the surrounding areas. Within the grounds of the villas, there are beautiful outdoor facilities complete with swimming pools, surrounded by almond and olive trees. After a dip, you can sit back and relax on the terrace. Sicily is an ideal place for a Mediterranean island holiday and our villa is the perfect place to kick back and relax.
