On this magical journey, we’ll travel back to the Roman Empire’s era in the historic Bay of Naples, wander through the pastel-colored cliffside villages of the Amalfi Coast, explore lush Victorian-style gardens, and indulge in the grandeur of the Italian Baroque period. Throughout, we’ll savor delectable regional cuisine and immerse ourselves in the rich local cultures and age-old traditions of the Mezzogiorno.
With this experience through Southern Italy, you’ll have the pleasure of touring through the exquisite 18th-century Royal Palace of Caserta, visiting a lemon grove near Minori, spending the day exploring the idyllic island of Capri, and much more!

Our morning begins with a walking tour through Naples’ historic center, where a local guide will lead us through its maze-like streets to the Cappella Sansevero, home to the world-renowned Veiled Christ sculpture. Next, we’ll step back in time with a visit to Pompeii, one of the most iconic archaeological sites on the planet. After exploring Pompeii with a guide, we’ll head to the charming seaside town of Santa Maria di Castellabate, where you’ll have a free evening to unwind.

We’ll start the day with a visit to a local farm, where we’ll meet the resident buffaloes and watch the creation of fresh mozzarella. Later, we’ll tour Paestum, home to some of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world. Our exploration of the temples, Roman Forum, and Amphitheatre will be guided by a local expert. Then, back at the farm, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a cooking lesson, using fresh local ingredients. Afterward, we’ll savor our creations over lunch with the host family. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to the picturesque town of Minori, where we’ll stay for the next five days.

Our day begins with a visit to the hilltop town of Ravello, where we’ll explore the stunning Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. Later, we’ll visit a local lemon grove for a tasting of limoncello and lemon-infused delicacies. Afterward, you’ll have the evening free to soak in Minori’s laid-back charm, with its quaint seafront and peaceful atmosphere.

Today, we’ll visit the spectacular cliffside town of Amalfi. After a brief orientation, we’ll move on to Positano, where you’ll have free time to explore the town’s terracotta houses, vibrant restaurants, and inviting boutiques. Later, back in Minori, we’ll learn about the art of ceramic decorating from a local artisan before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure.

Today’s highlight is a trip to the breathtaking island of Capri. After a short ferry ride, we’ll take a funicular up to Capri town and explore its elegant piazza. You’ll have free time to wander the chic cafes and boutique-lined streets before we return to Minori for an evening of leisure. We recommend trying the local specialty, scialatielli pasta, for dinner.

We’ll spend today uncovering some hidden gems of the Amalfi Coast, starting with the village of Maiori, known for its wide beach and historic architecture. Next, we’ll visit the fishing village of Cetara before heading to Vietri sul Mare, famous for its vibrantly painted ceramics. After a full day of exploring, we’ll return to Minori to relax before enjoying a farewell dinner together.

On our final day, we’ll visit the magnificent Royal Palace of Caserta, a stunning example of Baroque architecture. From there, we’ll head to a farmhouse in Sant’Agata de’ Goti to sample Falanghina wines and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch. Our journey concludes back in Naples.
