Here, you can take your time to find the ideal composition in the scenic countryside, capture the charm of local villages, and explore historic cities like San Gimignano and Volterra, sketching their ancient streets and remarkable architecture.
Our painting holiday venues in Tuscany are set amidst breathtaking landscapes, providing endless inspiration for artists. The serene surroundings and beautiful villa grounds are ideal for both relaxation and creativity.
With sketchbooks, easels, and boards provided, all the essential details are taken care of. We will also provide a helpful list of painting materials to bring along on your trip.
Stunning views are an essential part of any painting holiday in Italy, and our villas are carefully selected for their incredible locations. We’ve chosen areas of Tuscany known for their captivating scenery to inspire our guests – from olive groves to rolling hills and vineyards. When you’re not painting, you can unwind by the pool or stroll through the estate grounds. All bedrooms are ensuite and designed in a contemporary style for your comfort.

This morning kicks off with your first sketching and painting session with your teacher, where you’ll go over the course outline, expectations, and get started with practical exercises. Afterward, enjoy lunch prepared by your chef. The afternoon is yours to either continue painting or relax by the pool. Dinner will be served at the villa.
After breakfast, spend the day sketching and painting at the villa or explore a nearby village with spectacular views of the Tuscan landscape for more inspiration. Dinner will be prepared at the villa.
After breakfast, our driver will take you on a day trip to a beautiful local town. Immerse yourself in the town’s architecture and ambiance, soaking up inspiration for your artwork. Dinner will be at the villa, prepared by your chef.
Following breakfast, continue to develop your watercolour and drawing techniques during a painting session with your teacher. The afternoon is free for more painting or relaxation by the pool. Both lunch and dinner will be served at the villa.
Today, you’ll explore Volterra, a stunning historical town filled with preserved Etruscan, Roman, and Renaissance architecture. Enjoy the scenic gardens of Parco Archeologico Enrico Fiumi before heading back to the villa for dinner.
Your last full day offers time to complete your paintings and relax by the pool. In the evening, there will be an exhibition of your artwork for the group, followed by a special farewell dinner prepared by your chef.
After breakfast, take some time to pack before our group transfer brings you to Pisa Airport for your journey home. Arrivederci!
