BOUTIQUE CULINARY EXPERIENCE

Join your Australian host Annie in the Veneto region the home of her ancestors. The Veneto region encompasses everything from the Adriatic sea to the dolomite’s creating geographically home to some of the worlds best wine and cheese. Prosecco, prosciutto, cheese and much more will be explored as you will be taken on a food journey straight at its source. Meet artisan producers who have been honing their craft for 5 and 6 generations whose passion is as strong today as ever.

Itinerary

Day 1: Benvenuto In Italia

After arriving and settling in to our luxury boutique accommodation, you will enjoy a
traditional Italian dinner at the house.

Day 2: Bassano & Wine Tour

Experience everything Bassano including markets, local shops and the quintessential Italian landscapes. Lunch at El Bocon Del Prete Deli, a local gastronomic shop, followed by a festival, apertivo and tour of Villa Angarano. Dinner is held at Al Canaseo – a favourite with the locals.

Day 3: Prosecco in Valdobbiadene

Spend the day in Valdobbiadene, Italy’s heart and home of prosecco, with visits to some cantinas and lunch at a local locanda. We’ll enjoy a dinner at a local trattoria, before heading back to the house.

Day 4: Tours & Tastings In Breganze

We will spend the morning, with a visit to the local Buffalo mozzarella factory and for a tour and tastings. We return to the house for lunch, before an afternoon exploration to the wine region of Breganze to the home of a wine known as Torcolato. A tour of the winery, with tastings is followed by dinner at Le Vigne Di Roberto. Meet Roberto at his cantina and indulge in a degustation dinner of local delicacies.

Day 5: Italian Cooking In Treviso

Spend the morning celebrating and learning real Italian cooking, under instruction from Peccati di Gola in Casier, just ten minutes from Treviso. We’ll then spend the afternoon shopping and sightseeing in Treviso. Dinner will be at Odeon Treviso, before we return to the house.

Day 6: Discover Conegliano Wine Region

Today, we’re treated to a gorgeous Perenzin Cheese tour, followed by lunch. Our afternoon will be spent sightseeing the beautiful conegliano wine region, before heading to Asolo for aperitivo and dinner at pane Vino.

Day 7: Salumi and San Daniele

We take a behind-the scenes tour of San Daniele Prosciutto Morgante salumi – celebrating the tradition and history of cured meats. We enjoy a lunch in Al Portego, San Daniele, followed by a visit to the monastery and Castello di Buttrio for aperitivo, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Ride and Dine

After a house-made breakfast, we take the quintessential Italian transport – a ride through to the sweeping Italian landscapes – to lunch. After lunch, we return to the house, for dinner.

Day 9: Farewell To Friends

Friendships have been formed, and a sense of family made, as today we get ready for departure.
